14. Exporting
Rendering the project to WAV or MP3 in the background, and writing the royalty-free one-shot library out as files.
- Export (top right) renders the project. The Export settings page chooses the format: WAV (16-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit float) or MP3, the sample rate, and the range (whole song or a bar range).
- Rendering happens in the background; a message tells you where the file was written (usually
<data folder>/exports). - Rendering uses every core. Tracks are independent, so they render at the same time and the mix is summed afterwards — about 3.6× faster on four cores. The audio is the same samples either way, and a track that ducks against another one still renders after its source.
- The master chain (including the limiter) is part of the render, so what you hear is what you get.
--export-one-shots <folder>writes the royalty-free one-shot library (46 generated drum, percussion, bass, synth and foley sounds) if you want them as files.
